Managing Stress Mindfully Class

The Managing Stress Mindfully Class fall schedule forthcoming

All groups and classes are free and confidential.

Did you know that stress is associated with:
  • Increased headaches
  • Sleep disturbance
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Digestion problems
  • Alcohol or drug abuse
  • and even the common cold!

Too much stress can compromise your academic performance, your relationships, and your health. If stress is running your life with papers, tests, relationships, health worries, family, painful feelings that do not go away, or no time for yourself - the UT Integrated Health Program offers free classes designed to get your life back in balance. Students discover how to reduce stress and other painful feelings by learning mindfulness meditation, yoga, ways to change patterns in thinking, and more. These are skills that can not only help you this semester, but throughout your life.

The Managing Stress Mindfully Class is a brief version of the OYP class. It is for students experiencing anxiety and other mood difficulties as well as stress-related health issues.

You don't need a referral to attend this class, to sign up or for more information simply contact the UHS Health Promotion Resource Center at (512)475-8252.
