Mindful Eating Recovery Group

512-471-3515
Student Services Building - 5th Floor

All groups are free and confidential.

Mondays 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Recovery from disordered eating is possible. If you recognize that disordered eating is a coping strategy that has become unhealthy, you may be "in recovery". This group is for students working on recovery issues. Sometimes it is tough to say, "I'm in recovery" but if you are trying to turn away from food behaviors (restricting, bingeing, purging, or over-exercising) in order to learn new ways of coping with life's challenges, this group can help. You will get feedback and support, share challenges and triumphs, and offer encouragement to other group members.

In most Cases, before joining a group or class, students meet with the group leaders to determine if a particular group or class is a good fit for them. To set up a pre-group interview, please call 512-471-3515.
