Navigating romantic relationships can be one of the more challenging and exciting experiences you have during college. Unlike Organic Chemistry and Spanish, the text books and guidance on how to "get an A in the class" are not easy to find. This 6-week group is designed to provide tools to help students make their own relationships healthy and rewarding. The facilitators will provide information
about college romantic relationships (such as dating, stages of relationships, communication, dealing with conflict, balancing a relationship with other commitments, healthy boundaries, sex, and breaking up) and the group members will discuss how these issues are playing out in their lives. The group is inclusive of all genders and sexual orientations. It is not designed to be a couple's group.
In most Cases, before joining a group or class, students meet with the group leaders to determine if a particular group or class is a good fit for them. To set up a pre-group interview, please call 512-471-3515.
