All groups are free and confidential.

Wednesday 3 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Do you have difficulty speaking up in groups? Is it hard for you to initiate conversations? Do you worry about how others are evaluating you and find yourself more "in your head" than in the conversation? If so, consider this group, in which you will:

  • Meet with other students who are facing similar challenges
  • Identify and change thoughts associated with your feared situations
  • Practice facing your social fears in a safe and supportive environment
  • Build communication and social skills to help you increase your comfort and self-confidence in social or performance situations

In most Cases, before joining a group or class, students meet with the group leaders to determine if a particular group or class is a good fit for them. To set up a pre-group interview, please call 512-471-3515.
