Optimizing Your Potential Class

Mondays 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

All groups and classes are free and confidential.

Is it difficult for you to manage the demands of school, work, or relationships?

Does the amount of stress in your life interfere with your ability to study, sleep, or relax?

If stress is running your life with papers, tests, relationships, health worries, family, painful feelings that do not go away, or no time for yourself - the UT Integrated Health Program offers free classes designed to get your life back in balance. Students see how to reduce stress and other painful feelings by learning mindfulness meditation, yoga, ways to change patterns in thinking, and more.

Mindfulness is the foundation of this class. It is the practice of paying attention purposefully in the present moment. Throughout this eight-week class students learn how to reduce stress and other painful feelings by practicing mindfulness meditation, yoga, ways to change self-defeating patterns of thinking, and more. The context of the group provides a supportive space in which to develop a personalized way of applying these skills to your life.

You do not need a referral for this class. To sign up or for more information contact CMHC's referral office at (512) 475-6923.
